1. Corypha umbraculifera:
The Talipot Palm has one of the largest inflorescence of any flowering plants in the world. Once bloomed and fruit the plant will die. It can produce hundreds of flowers and fruits. The flower is white and very small, size of a finger nail. This palm comes from Southern India and Sri Lanka.
2. Cassia farnesiana:
This plant is from a family of leguminosi.

3. Begonia:
This picture depicts a foliage leaf begonia which is grown specially for its unique colourful foliage in various forms.
4. Parkia biglandulosa:

Parkia biglandulosa, the petai tree is a large and stately tree.

5. Caryota sp.:
Caryota is locally called Fish tail palm.
6. Alstonia sp.:
This picture of an Alstonia sp. in full bloom was taken in the backwaters of Kerala, India.

7. Dracaena reflexa 'Song of India':

The Song of India

Song of India belongs to the Liliaceae family. A beautiful architectural foliage plant, margin of leaves yellow with green stripe in the centre. Seldom flower.
